summary
Maddie
and Abby Parker are two typical teenage sisters whose not so good first
day of high school ends up changing their lives. The girls inadvertently
witness a crime and subsequently end up testifying in court. To assure
the safety of their family, they are placed in the FBI's Witness Protection
Program. Unfortunately for them, the girls are pathological blabbermouths
and end up blowing their cover... many, many times. Finally, given nowhere
else to go, they are sent "down under" to Sydney, Australia
where they must shape up to avoid being permanently removed from the
program. While working hard to keep their secret, the girls must also
find a way to become popular at their new school, which means they have
to find a way to impress the Aussies. They have to learn the lingo,
eat the local grub, learn how to "catch a wave," and ultimately
use their heads in order to accomplish this feat, all while being chased
by the goofy bad guys.

review
Our
Lips Are Sealed is the latest in Mary-Kate and Ashley's growing selection
of ninety-minute videos. It is a typical farce comedy marked by improbable
plot situations, exaggerated characters, and a combination of slapstick
and satirical comedy. The girls perform well in this type of movie and
their acting abilities have noticeably improved over their past few releases.
While this movie definitely has a different style than their others,
it is still remarkably similar in several ways--namely the wacky antics
and adventures with cute guys. While this movie doesn't have what it
takes to improve the general public's view of the girls or their movies,
true fans of all ages should enjoy this film in one way or another;
in fact, there are even a few inscrutable references obviously targeted
towards an older audience. So go check it out; it's worth seeing at
least once, if not a dozen times. ;)
